ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This is a contract position located in Austin, Texas. This is an excellent school district with lots of support with wonderful colleagues and students. For anyone commuting for this position, we can provide travel and housing stipends to help compensate for the drive.
Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), or eligibility for certification.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and student goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the school curriculum.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with parents and caregivers regarding therapy plans and progress.
